Pet Shop was the first Modular Buildings set split across two independent baseplates — a brown townhouse paired with a blue pet shop, sold together as a duo. Released in 2011, that two-baseplate design gave builders far more layout flexibility than earlier entries, alongside a cozy, domestic feel that balanced out the collection's more commercial buildings. The pet shop half is stocked with a variety of brick-built animals and accessories, while the townhouse side adds a spiral staircase and a small backyard garden — details that reward a closer look at either building.
