10197-1 - Fire Brigade

Fire Brigade brought a 1930s-style dark-red brick fire station, complete with an old-school fire truck, into the Modular Buildings Collection in 2009. It was the first set in the line built around a civic public service rather than a shop or cafe, and it added playful details like opening garage doors, a bell tower, and a ping-pong table tucked inside. It also includes a golden fire helmet detail and an upstairs recreation room, small touches that add to why the set is such a sought-after cornerstone for collectors chasing the collection's earliest years.
